"We were lucky enough to have one of Silkorchid's Tonks nearly 5 years ago. We had lost one of our 2 Tonks to cancer and her surviving brother was pining and depressed. We needed to help him and Silkorchid Tonks came to the rescue. The little boy kitten they gave us changed all of our lives. He is incredibly well socialised and is the perfect gentleman. He is chaotic, inquisitive and dynamic, exactly what we wanted. He is beautifully well-behaved and incredibly loving. He is brave yet sensible, loving yet independent. The perfect addition to our family. From the first moment he came into our lives we could tell that the breeder had set him up for success. We called him Alan and the rest is history. Our other Tonk (Diesel) took to his new brother instantly. I would have another kitten from Silkorchid in a heartbeat."

"We had a wonderful experience from first contacting Christina, through to first meeting and taking home our newest family member. Christina gave us the full background info to fill in gaps about the breed and about her cats and their lineage in particular, followed by a number of photos and videos until they were old enough to visit. We were delighted that our boy Leo chose us on first meeting and we got to take him home a few weeks later. He loves to be picked up and is incredibly playful! Very much a family member rather than just a pet and we'll always be thankful for how Christina raised him so we get to enjoy our lives together."

"We would thoroughly recommend Silk Orchid and have had a wonderful experience with Christina (and Alistair). Her great passion for Tonkinese cats and tremendous knowledge of the breed is second to none. We had sadly lost one of our beloved Tonks to chronic kidney disease and our remaining girl was lonely. We were referred to Christina who has looked after us from first contact, to the initial meeting, to settling our kitten into his new home and onwards. When we visited Christina and Alistair's beautiful home we also fell in love with his Mum, siblings and their other gorgeous furbabies, and it was evident how well they were all cared for. As well as being a very handsome and healthy boy, Teddy is super sociable, confident and inquisitive, and adores attention and his cuddles. He's very much part of the family now and got his paws firmly under the table; we get a lot more visits from F&F who come to see him! We went through the adoption process during Covid and she was very proactive with open communication, sending daily photographs and updates on the kittens; capturing their individual personalities day by day.

The kittens had a long journey from Scotland to London, but that didnt stop Milo from immediately stepping out of the crate with confidence and curiosity, with his sister Millie following closely behind. Within a few hours of arriving they had adjusted to their new home. From day 1 they exhibited excellent litter training - no issues with accidents around the house.

Christina remained in contact and would happily answer any questions we had about their care - even to this day we receive updates about their siblings!

The kittens are truly part of the family, and any visitors that come are in awe of their friendliness and gentle nature, which exemplifies how well they have been socialised as kittens.

Thank you Christina and family for nurturing them and supporting us through their initial few months, you have given us the greatest gifts.
